PLEASE IDENTIFY ALL THE GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN MY REPORT AND POINT THEM OUT ESPECIALLY COMMAS IF I NEED ANY OR HAVE TO MUCH!!!!! thanks Orson Scott Card Of the many prolific writers that have embellished the interpretation of great literature, only one has shown a significant depiction through many genres of books. This most astute and ambitious individual happens to be Orson Scott Card. Orson Scott Card was born on August 24, 1951 in Richland, Washington. As an adolescent he was raised in Santa Clara, California where his passion for reading was discovered at the public library. Astonished by genres from historical fiction to sci-fi, books became a vital partition of Card’s life. Soon Orson began reading adult oriented books and showed great fascination towards his religion, to which he read the Book of Mormon and the Bible. Card also found theater to quite amusing and one of his most desirable pastimes. Throughout Card’s late teenage years his parents sought Orem, Utah as a different, but habitable community. Orson was later admitted to BYU as he pursued a theater major. In 1977 Card married Kristine Allen and had five children. Card’s dream of producing plays was thought to have been interminable, but due to accumulating debts his theater company shut down. Orson knew in order to support his family and continue an enriched life, he had to start a new career that he had a passion for. In the early 1980’s Card devoted his career as an author and began writing science fiction. Not long after, Card’s first novel Ender’s Game was published, followed by multiple books in the Ender series. He later won the Hugo and the Nebula awards for Ender’s Game and its sequel Speaker of the Dead in 1986 and 1987. Aside from writing novels, Card directs plays and teaches classes as a professor of writing and literature at Southern Virginia University. He now lives with his family in Greensboro, North Carolina. Card and his family have been active in a local Mormon community, and in recent years his columns fro the Rhinoceros Times has increased involvement in his community. Orson also began writing a column in the Rhinoceros Times after the September 11, 2001 attacks called “War Watch.” Card is also involved in helping the environment and promoting scientific research. He supports government funded research for alternative energy sources and hoping to obsolete fossil fuels.
